My Facility: Tranquillity Clinic

I consult and operate from my own, purpose-built, ambulatory surgical facility - Tranquillity Clinic. Tranquillity Clinic is licensed by the Department of Health for ambulatory plastic surgery. We are proud of our license and we have worked hard to attain and maintain it. We are required to meet certain legislated standards of care, sterility, and so on. We are the only single surgeon, licensed facility in Cape Town.

Ambulatory surgery is day case surgery which means that you arrive at the clinic on the morning of surgery and you are discharged later that same day. We do not keep patients overnight.

Ambulatory surgery is the modern trend for cosmetic surgery. Globally and in the USA about 80% of cosmetic surgery is performed in an ambulatory setting. Good anaesthesia, in particular, and gentle surgery, ensure a rapid recovery and allow discharge on the day of surgery.
