You have probably arrived at my site because you are contemplating some form of plastic surgery, possibly facial rejuvenation, breast enhancement, lipo or some other surgical or non-surgical procedure. Perhaps something about your face or body has been troubling you for years or has been getting progressively worse and now could be the time to get it fixed? This then might be your first step on a journey to a new and improved you.
My job is to ensure that your journey is plain-sailing through calm waters. More than that, I want you to be happy with the destination of that journey – the outcome of surgery. Satisfaction after cosmetic surgery is achieved when your expectation matches the result, that is, you get what you were after. I want satisfied patients – not only are they happy, but they also make me feel good and they tell prospective patients about me!
A journey starts with planning. You need to empower yourself with information. That is what this website is for – to enable you to get as much information about the procedures that I do. My description of procedures is personal, derived from years of experience (I have been in private practice since 1998), and from treating thousands of patients. I hope to enlighten you as to what to expect before, during and after surgery and what kind of outcome you can look forward to in the long run. I understand that patients have fears and anxieties of many kinds – ‘It’s a lot of money’, ‘Isn’t it dangerous?’, ‘What if there are complications?’, ‘Aren’t I being vain?’, and so on. Every patient experiences these to some degree and part of what we do is to help you with these issues - not I alone, I have a superb team who work with me in caring for you. Read on, get as much information as possible and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
The vast majority of my practice is cosmetic surgery. Apart from cosmetic surgery I also do cleft lip and palate work at the Red Cross Children's Hospital and elsewhere (see the picture). I am in a very fortunate position that I am able to have this combination and that my cosmetic practice allows me to do this work with the children. I believe that it is important to give back.
